Saved, Delivered and Healed !!!!!!
SLOUGH 11thFebruary 2019
A beautiful, breezy early Spring day. Although my day hadn’t started that well, I spent precious time in Abba’s Presence and had my heart encouraged to press on and see what He would do, what we would do together. So off I went into Slough!!
It wasn’t too long before I came across a group of four youngish chaps out on the high street at a sales stand. We somehow got into conversation about a Ted Talk from a guy who had embarked on a hundred days of rejection as a way of immunising himself to rejection! Random! When they asked what i was doing in Slough, I explained about being a Christian who loves to demonstrate the goodness of God to people through His words of encouragement or taking away of physical pain/sickness.
The group were all healthy and didn’t need prayer for physical healing. I then silently asked Holy Spirit for prophetic insight to give each one. The first one I spoke with (K’wa) had cool rasta hair and has an Angolan background. I felt Holy Spirit gave me insight into how differently others see him, not always helpfully, vs how God has made him and other things to do with his identity and the unique pleasure God has in him. He was nodding in agreement with these words and just soaking everything in carefully.
At one point he told me that he had been in Birmingham recently with work and a man there had spoken with him who had been radically transformed by encountering God. As he spoke, it was clear as day that Holy Spirit was in pursuit of K’wa and I said to him “What are you going to do now? Jesus is so obviously knocking at the door of your heart because He wants to come in and live life with you in multi-dimensional, full technicolour!” He laughed and said he didn’t really know what to do next so I offered to pray with him right now so he could receive Jesus with no further delay and walk with him forever. And he said YES!
It was so precious to hold hands together with K’wa right there in the street and lead him in a prayer to receive Jesus and his wonderful salvation. He prayed with all sincerity and I know He is now a newborn child of the Living God! I also prayed for him to be filled full of the Holy Spirit. Afterwards he felt really light, like a burden had been lifted off him and he was smiling broadly! We talked about how to read the Bible and find a church where the Presence of Jesus is tangibly evident, even when you first enter. He lives in London so hopefully there will be several he can explore there.
He was needed at the stand just then so in the interval I dashed into a shop selling books and found a Good News Bible for K’wa. He was thrilled when I gave it to him a little later and very moved that someone would do that for him who hardly knows him. But he is my brother now!! Ahhh how glorlously sweet that encounter was! This precious one had been beautifully prepared for harvest and yesterday was harvest day! Woo Hoo! Party in Heaven and in my heart!!!!!
One of the colleagues had to go off and do work things but I had opportunity to speak with the other two – A and O. Both Muslims, I believe, and well dressed chaps!. Holy Spirit gave me downloads for each of them – they both separately told me that what I shared was true (some of it was stuff that happened years ago, in each case) They were pretty rocked by these “messages” – in a good way! One of the downloads for O included the restoration of childlike joy - to do with “seeing“ him on a pogo stick! He loved that - especially that I had never had that image for anyone else before. He said he wanted to go away and reflect on what he had heard. This group were all in Slough for the first time and for this one day only!
The other download for A was to do with certain limitations he still lived with that were put on him while he was at school. After I spoke this, he actually ASKED me to pray for all that to be broken off his life ! Deliverance prayer on request - right there in the street! Crazy but wonderful. What an honour to pray for this young man. Go Jesus! Bring these two to their harvest day very soon! And protect your newborn K’wa even more than a fierce lioness protects her little cub. GLORY!!!!
As if that wasn’t enough of a feast (!) on my way back to the car, two young ladies at a stand offered me some snacks they were giving away as a promotion. I asked them how their bodies were doing after standing up all day, and they said they weren’t used to it and had back strain. I explained about praying for people in the name of Jesus and gave them a couple of testimonies of people I had seen healed. They were both up for me praying for themt. One girl is called “Gita” the other one “Marie”. They had a fairly mild level of pain (about 3 or 4/10) but what was so beautiful was how they felt something tangible and indescribable of His presence, as well as freedom from their pain. It was easy to talk to them about Jesus meeting them today as a signpost for them to see He is real and cares about every aspect of their lives and to encourage them to call out to Him to know Him more.
Here is a brief clip capturing something of these twin back healings!!

Finally, a shop I needed to pass through was doing a Red Nose Day promotion and handed me a red paper rose. As I passed a Muslim lady on a bench outside, I felt prompted to give it to her saying “God bless you”. She looked surprised but took the rose, smiling. Let that flower be a tangible contact point for your saving Presence to come on her and her family Lord Jesus!
