"Gout get out !" And it did! Here's how.....
This afternoon while out on a breezy walk near my home, I came across two local friends walking their dog. After a good old time of catching up (socially distanced of course!) one of the friends, Steve, mentioned that he had recently been experiencing a lot of pain in his left foot due to gout. When he flexed it in certain positions, especially standing on the ball of his foot, the pain was excruciating - 10/10 . It was high time to get the gout taken out in Dr Jesus’ clinic – today’s clinic happened to be on a pavement!
Steve was very happy to receive prayer and you can hear what happened to his foot in the following brief interview.

Steve's story
Notice how after the first brief prayer, the pain shifted around as it came down in severity. Time to take authority over infirmity and affliction which are often reluctant to loosen their hold and can start moving about. Steve also kept checking his foot for progress along the way – literally taking “steps of faith” into the healing that was already his but now fully becoming his in experience.
Each time was a further cause for celebration and thanking Jesus for His wonderful healing.
By the end of our prayer (three brief prayers taking a few minutes in all) Steve was flexing his foot side to side and up and down and walking freely with only the barest, tiny residue of tenderness left. Only a 0.5 on the scale – and that’s on its way out now too! We would have hugged each other excitedly if we could but we certainly gave Jesus a big high-five for healing Steve’s foot as we headed back to our homes.
