Recently I was part of a team taking part in a large community event. A few of us had just finished some practice run-throughs for the following day and were relaxing together in the tent. One of the team members was sitting down trying to massage away some pain/stiffness in her left leg. I overheard her saying to another member that she needed physio, having been told that one of her legs was shorter than the other and a cause of her leg problem.
My ears pricked up when I heard this! It had been a while since I ‘d prayed for someone’s leg to grow out. Before I could overthink things, I jumped in to check with this person that I had heard right about her having a short leg? She confirmed this was so and I announced to the three others standing near that we would pray for her leg and see it grow out to the right length! I’m not sure any of the others had seen such a thing happen before or what they were thinking after this announcement!
I had our friend sit square on, right to the back of the seat, with her legs stretched out straight to front as I lightly rested her heels on my hands. . It was clear for all to see that her left leg heel was shorter by at least half an inch to the right one! I asked everyone to make sure they had seen the deficit before the prayer, and all confirmed they had seen it.
Speaking directly to the left leg, I commanded it to grow out in the Name of Jesus! The deficit in length immediately reduced by half. I then further commanded it saying “More!” and the leg again grew out quickly and was perfectly equal in length to the other one. It was so sudden but undeniable! I had to tell the leg to “STOP!” growing, as I didn’t want it to overshoot the right leg!
I had the other three people check that the legs were now equal length and they were amazed to see and agree that they were! I don’t know who was more surprised – the team friends looking on or the lady being prayed for! When she got up and walked around, she could immediately feel a difference in her stance being more centred and well balanced, something she still testifies to today. Her leg stiffness has since reduced though she is still doing physio exercises to “wear in” and strengthen her new leg muscles!
One of the other team members in the tent also asked for healing prayer for a stiff, sore neck and shoulder area which disturbed her sleep. She received almost immediate release and went away pain free! She did have to contend for that healing when the pain tried to return later, but she stood her ground and a day or so later was fully free of the pain and able to sleep soundly without any difficulty! Praise God! Another team member testified to release of her own back pain during the prayer for others! Again, she needed to hold fast to her healing which was later contested but the victory held sure.
What an unexpected and precious mini healing tent revival! Glory to God and thank you Jesus for crowning that day with such good things among this special team. You are the amazing Healer King!
