Hello dear Laughing Lion readers,
A quick update on “Carrie” before I sign off for Christmas.
Carrie is the shop manager I prayed healing over for long-term painful legs and feet (see previous post for the full story).
On a bright and early trip into town before the Christmas shoppers flocked in, I popped back to the shop where Carrie works. It was lovely and quiet! I spotted Carrie at the till area. When she saw me, she announced to me in front of her colleagues: “Oh, I really think you helped me. The day after you prayed for me, I walked 14,000 steps!! That is not normal for me!” Considering the pain Carrie had been in previously, where it was hard for her to stand for any length of time, let alone walk long distances, this was an amazing turnaround. Praise you Jesus!
We had a bit of a chat together about some family things that are difficult for her. I encouraged her to tell her story of healing to others and spoke/prophesied that she would be a catalyst of restoration in her family, her own healing story being part of that.
Then it was time to leave….
I hope to see Carrie next year! Please pray for her and for her onward journey. That her steps would be those of faith towards Jesus, as well as those of healing freedom.
