Beautiful Norwich Cathedral

Duncan’s Birthday! We went together on a day trip to Norwich – Duncan initially had work meetings which meant I had a few hours to wander round the city looking for “Treasure!! ”
The first person I encountered was a girl in her twenties at a water purifiers stand. Her name was "Amelie". She was originally from France and after chatting about various things I asked her if there was anything I could pray for her – including medical stuff. . She was fine physically but said I could pray for her family because five years ago her younger brother had very sadly died. He had taken his own life and the family had found him, I assured her i would and then told her that even before i spoke to her I felt God had highlighted that she was undergoing a“revolution” at a very deep level. A massive change in how she thinks, how she perceives life. This was at a heart as well as a mind level. She nodded and agreed this was certainly happening. I assured her that God wanted to be in that “revolution”, to help her process everything safely in a way that would bless and not harm her life.
I also had this impression that there was an old toy from her childhood that she still had and that was bringing her comfort now– like a teddy bear or bunny. She listened intently as I said that God wanted her to know that He sees and understands the comfort this toy brings her and that it's really okay. "Amelie"said “It’s a teddy bear” and she understood what I was saying! It was a very tender moment. . I explained to her that if the things she had heard from me were true, then she can know that this comes from God who knows her so completely and is revealing them now - even to a stranger - to let her know how much He loves and cares about her. She was very touched. I urged her to call out to Jesus who will come to anyone who sincerely invites Him - as He did with me.
The next person I encountered was in the Apple store. I had booked an appointment at the Genius bar to get my iphone checked out. While I waited for the appointment I asked HS for a word for the consultant who would serve me. That person turned out to be "Hannah" (a German girl originally) The word i had was “downtime” . I felt Holy Spirit said that this person had been having a “down time” (low mood) but that he was going to use their “downtime” (relaxation/leisure) in a creative way that would help them with their low mood times. I explained it to her and she said it actually made a lot of sense to her!
She had finished Uni and was in a time of transition etc. I also told her I felt that God wanted to release the words "courage and confidence" to her for the future and that she didn’t have to hold back while other people went forward. She needs to speak out, because she has valuable things to say and give. She acknowledged this was needed and seemed really happy with the things I had shared with her. In fact she said “keep on doing what you are doing” because it had really made her day!! . I had opportunity to tell her to call on Jesus and explained how I had called out to God at a difficult time and He had made Himself known to me so powerfully and wonderfully. I think that was all – a good time for sure!
I sat down on an empty bench at lunchtime) with the prayer that God would bring someone he wanted me to encourage to sit on the same bench!. A young couple came and sat opposite in their break I let them eat then asked them if they could please tell me the way to the cathedral. They directed me and then I told them it might seem crazy but I had some words of encouragement for them from God! They were happy to let me share them so I started with the young man (Jake) and gave a word about his workplace and how he was currently feeling "underappreciated and overlooked". His mouth nearly fell open and he said this was really apt for him – he was definitely listening now! I told him that he was not going to be at that work for much longer but that while he was there he could see it as a training time to help him deal with things further down the line . God would train him through the tough stuff but would move him out. He was really impacted by this word and said how accurate it is for him.
The word for the young lady (Leah) was also about her work - about being placed where she is for a really good purpose and not to think its just random and that she kinda“fell into it”. God actually had it planned for her all along and it is really for her benefit to bless her at this time. She was quiet but smiled at the end and said thankyou. It was powerful to feel God move here and then to be able to say how God had come to me when I was at my very worst point and has been my very best friend ever since . Woo Hoo!!
Next I met up with a little group of three ladies who were promoting cosmetics. I chatted with them for a while. The main leader was "Victoria", then a very shy, sad looking lady Tara" plus another lady further away and i didn’t catch her name. I then explained that I love to pray for people with illness or pain and “Victoria” explained her back and legs were in constant bad pain after a car accident many years ago. She'd had lots of surgeries and they couldn’t do any more for her. The pain was 7.5 to 8/10 on the pain scale.
I was so excited to pray for her and she was willing to let me pray. She wasn’t a believer at all, in fact she said she was an atheist but spiritual and connected in to psychics and stuff!!!! I explained how I would pray and for her just o relax and receive than test it and be honest. She said after the prayer that it was still exactly the same so I prayed again and still no change. She said she was disappointed as she was hoping this prayer would get her out of the constant daily pain she was in. I prayed a blessing over her again and invited the presence of God to come in glory. During that prayer I felt led to pray for her night dreams and night mares to stop and she said immediately that she definitely has terrible dreams
Some cars arriving meant we had to move aside and it kind of broke up after that but I was able to keep talking to her about God not being interested in whether we are “good or bad” but whether we accept His Son, who lived a perfect life for us. I also encouraged her to keep open to healing as even if it didn’t seem to happen today, she could find she had healing over the next few days. She agreed to that …then talked about her life and how she is bipolar and lonely, even though she knew lots of people.
I believe that "Victoria" was bound by evil spirits and I did my best to pray for her accordingly I'm disappointed she didn’t get her healing then and there. I wondered afterwards if i needed to have checked her leg lengths as she may well have had a short leg causing the chronic pain. Just didn’t think of that at the time. I have her email so may be in touch later. She was very grateful to me for trying and wanting to bless me and said how "feisty" I was as I prayed!! I also released a blessing over "Tara" - a lady who looked like a classic victim with very low self confidence, probably taken terrible advantage of in relationships. Lord only you can truly reach these poor, broken and bound daughters and bring them into freedom.’
