SLOUGH, OCTOBER 2017
Recently my encounters have been largely prophetic-based more than healing. I have seen many opportunities to share my testimony briefly and encourage those I spoke with to ask Jesus to show them who He is when they are alone in a private space. Here are some of the precious ones recently encountered
First out on the high street I met Selena – I had a few downloads about her which I honestly can’t remember what they were but they must have clicked with her because we got into a conversation where she admitted she believes in “something out there” She was interested to hear my testimony and was quite okay about my suggestion of asking Jesus to reveal who He is to her when she was on her own, I don’t remember more about our time together ….Father though I have forgotten my time with Selena she is always inyour thoughts and I ask you to give her many many encounters with You that move her closer to your heart and your Home for her.
Inside the shopping centre … I came across two guys on a stand. A black guy in his thirties and a younger looking lad. They were pleasantly surprised when I went over to them smiling and ready to have a conversation! The black guy is called "Wayne" And the other chap is called Mac. After chatting with them about their day (which wasn’t going too well for them and was frustrating Mac particularly) they asked about what I was doing and I explained about praying for people. They seemed okay with that and when I offered to pray for them for any physical stuff,
"Wayne" said he had a shoulder issue which bothered him when he danced! He was happy for me to pray and actually I could tell he was really receiving the prayer, brief as it was. At the end he was smiling and said he hadn’t wanted to open his eyes when I stopped praying as he felt so relaxed and happy! He couldn’t really test the shoulder as the pain came after repeated activity but he said he felt good in all his body. I explained He was experiencing the peace and presence of God but how God doesn’t just want to visit us temporarily from the outside but come and live on the inside permanently so we can experience Him all the time! He really caught on to that and I encouraged him to ask Jesus to come and live on the inside of him. Maybe I should have prayed with him there and then for that – I don’t know. It was more tricky with his co-worker being there. Holy Spirit please take "Wayne" forward and keep reminding him of what he experienced that day so that he does call on Jesus to be his forever friend and Saviour.
Then Wayne enthusiastically urged Mac to be prayed for (I think he had some physical pain of some kind) but also just about his life. Mac said no! And he said no again! He actually said “no I don’t want you to pray for me”. I told him I totally respected his wishes and would never try and force Jesus on him or on anyone. Then I just started to speak blessing to him out loud – for him to prosper in the business he was there to do that day. Then I just blessed him a bit more ! And found myself highlighting certain things - God taking away disappointment that was stopping him moving forward and also about some current relationship stuff that was causing him to lose trust….he asked me with surprise in his voice “How do you know all this?!” and I explained I was just hearing God’s heart for him because God loves him so much and wants to bless his life and take away the things that hurt and rob him. It was really cool how even though I wasn’t “praying” for him, Mac received the Father’s blessing - anyway in a kind of stealth prayer way! Very fun. Heavenly Ploughman come after them both and plough in that seed of life you planted that day in these precious lives so that Your life and fruit come forth!
I also spoke with "A" and "Chris" but don’t remember what I shared or how the encounters were……pursue them anyway Father! Hound of Heaven pursue them with your love!
