Slough - 18th April 2018
Things I felt I needed to look out for in today’s encounters – arm issues/injuries/conditions, blood related problems including diabetes and blood pressure, the name Sonja!
The first person I came across was “Paul” – the one I had met a few weeks earlier and thought afterwards I should have asked if he had elbow pain! So, I asked him this time and he did used to have a problem with his elbow but it’s okay now! I explained to him about being in Slough to pray for people and he actually asked me if I would pray for him as he was feeling very fatigued and lethargic. I gladly prayed, asking for Heavenly Berocca to be released to energise “Paul”! - He was really grateful – I passed by him again about an hour and a half later and he said he was feeling good!
I met a couple of young ladies campaigning for something ….one of them in particular I sensed a real openness in as I explained what I was doing in Slough that morning - although she didn’t have any of the physical conditions I mentioned. I felt I went as far as I could in those moments, respecting their need to get back to work, but didn’t feel like business was finished yet! Time to move on for a while and see what Holy Spirit might do later on….Their names were “Sara” and “Helen”
Right down the end of the High Street I came across “Nick” – I’m not sure if he is originally from Eastern Europe or perhaps the Middle East. After I explained what I was doing in Slough, he saw it as his opportunity to tell me about a system of healing (on the internet) called the Healing Code and how it uses "energy" to heal people. He was obviously quite into it – I let him talk about it and just said I would take a look sometime. I then asked him if there was anything at all I could pray for him today. I thought he might say he was alright with his own healing system but actually he said that lots of places in his body had issues! Maybe he had all the conditions I had heard when I prayed in the morning! He had a lot of tension and soreness in most of his body, the worst part in his chest region. He accepted my offer of prayer in the name of Jesus and it was so interesting watching him as I prayed. He started to "receive" the prayer and I saw peace come over his body and his countenance. It was a visible shift, his eyes were closed, he began to look relaxed and then he was smiling! When I asked him how he felt he said “Good! You have good energy!” I reminded Him that it was not energy but Jesus who had done that for him.
Holy Spirit please bring this to Nick’s attention again and again, that what the healing code energy stuff had not been able to do for him, YOU did in a matter of moments. May he remember how he tasted and saw that You are good and may his heart be drawn to you ever more strongly.
The next two treasures I met were walking together – two homeless guys and I thought I recognised one of them as someone I had prayed for before for leg pain. He said “No, that’s not me but I think I know who you mean! We had a bit of a chat and they were both happy for me to pray for them for various physical issues. The first one “Laurie” had real issues with his jaw which had been fractured and then got infected. The nerve endings in his face had also been affected. He said that he knows and loves Jesus and I could see it in his face. I couldn’t really do a “before and after” check as the issues weren’t affecting him much right then. I then prayed for “Ted” who had issues with a trapped nerve in his leg and soreness from sleeping on hard cold surfaces. They weren’t bothering him right then (usually it would be first thing in the morning on waking) but he let me pray and seemed to receive the different things I felt led to pray for him. We said fond farewells and walked our separate ways.
On the way back I asked Holy Spirit about the two girls from before – “Sara' and "Helen”. I asked Him what Father loves about them uniquely and felt he gave me some downloads about them both. Helen was there on her own to begin with and she was very grateful for the words I shared and resonated with them being true of her. They centred around her role in her own family and her friendship groups. I also gave Sara her words (to do with her eye for detail and capacity to encourage others through that– she was the more “edgy” of the two girls but actually she seemed really grateful for the things I spoke about her and thanked me warmly. I didn’t linger but I know you will, Holy Spirit !! Hover over them day and night and draw them to Abba.
Finally, I met “Mark”, a chap in his sixties who was fund raising. He told me something of his life, including some really hard challenges in his family as well as personally. I explained what I had been doing in Slough that morning and asked him about his own health in conjunction with the “conditions” I was looking out for that morning. He told me that he had virtually all the ones I had mentioned to do with “blood” – and showed me his medications list for blood pressure and diabetes, possibly anaemia too. He was very happy to let me pray for him and at the end of my prayer he said that it had really touched his heart and meant a lot to him. I asked him about the name “Sonja” and he said he had just spoken with a lady called Sonja half an hour ago– so right there and then I just spoke blessing over that Sonja wherever she might be and asked the Heavenly Father to meet her need whatever that was. Bless this dear man "Mark" and move him on quickly to his next divine appointment with you, Abba.
