Legs, legs and more legs!

Time for leg pain to GO!

More rested and recharged today.  Looking forward to encounters that Holy Spirit sets up to reveal the Father’s love to others not even looking for Him/  It turned out to be a fantastic morning/afternoon !!  I felt that Father highlighted “legs” again for healing today – any kind of leg issue.  So that’s what I went looking for……

First off – I saw Toni again!  (The young lady who was instantly healed of kidney pain) Lovely to catch up and hear that, despite her being unwell with a different issue since i saw her, she hadn’t had the pain back in her kidney!  She said my card was on her fridge!  I prayed she would find a kitten for her daughter's birthday next week then we parted as friends.  I pray I will come across her again soon. 

After that, every person I prayed for today had leg issues!.  A man in his sixties called "Tony" – local from Slough.  Seemed like he’s adrift in life.  His parents had passed on and i don't think he had a job.   Catholic background.  He had an  arthritic left knee and no understanding that God could or would take it away – sees it as just age and wear and tear and that’s his lot.  I prayed for him nonetheless, though he wasn’t in pain at that point so we couldn’t do a "before and after".  But I trust the work of the Kingdom in him to continue and for him to find hope and purpose in Jesus.

I was approached by a young woman from the same team as Julia yesterday.  Julia came up too saying – "oh here is the lovely smiling lady!"  The other lady was curious how I knew her so I explained to "Camilla" how I was there to bless and pray for people, and had met Julia the day before.  "Camilla" is Italian too.  I started speaking blessing to her and just told her how amazing she is and how much God loves her and found myself telling her how God had made her that person who can come in the room and lift the mood of that room when others are gloomy, switching atmospheres to become light and fun.  She was so intrigued as she agreed this is what she is like!  I told her about how God knows everything about her and how He gets a bad press.  He never wanted it to be about church going and rules and judgment and said a bit about why Jesus came.  I went as far as I could and then blessed her again telling her how amazing she is and left.

The next person I encountered was a lady in her 70's -  "Belinda".  She was sitting on a bench area and had a walking stick by her side. There was some wind-pipes music being played behind us and i started chatting about that for a bit.  After more chat I asked her about her leg.  A story followed about how she had fallen at home and hurt her knee, gone to the A&E but been discharged with some cling film over her wound. Unfortunately she went on to develop serious issues in her knee which hospitalised her for 2 months!  It was a lengthy story which also involved other parts of her body going out of alignment plus asthma and also thyroid issues.  I joked with her that she needed a total body overhaul and said I would be honoured to pray for all the issues, one at a time, just briefly. 

She was happy to let me pray (though almost certainly not a believer) and I started with the areas where we could do a "before and after".  Lower back first – pain scale 8 – went down gradually after 3 prayers to a zero!  She felt warmth in her back during the prayer.  Then her neck and shoulders (6 or 7) – felt warmth there too and it also went down after a couple or prayers to be relaxed and feeling good.  Prayed for her wrist, and the knee of course! Which actually wasn’t in pain but needed supernaturally accelerated healing – it was her first day out of her house today!!  Prayed for the asthma and thyroid too and just blessed her whole body.  Afterwards I said – "I bet you weren’t expecting this to happen today!"  When I asked her how she was doing and she said “I just have this real feeling of contentment”!!  and I explained that was the Peace of God.  That God wanted to be her best friend and do life with her and some other things.  It was so cool and wonderful to see Father touch this dear older lady with His love and healing power. Over to you Holy Spirit....

After that I saw a trio of young people approaching (Polish I think) – one a girl in her twenties hobbling and with a crutch.  I directly approached them and asked the girl what was wrong with her leg -  her knee was injured from an accident.  I asked her to hold my hand (bit weird!) and could I try something and just looked at her knee without speaking out loud.  Her pain was 8.  She tested it and it was still 8.  I put my hand on it this time and prayed and the pain went down.  Then again and it went and she said it was now okay though I'm not sure if she just wanted to go because her guy friend was mocking and being really sceptical about what i was doing so I don’t know if she really was healed or not.  Her name is Sam.

It was interesting approaching so directly.  Not sure that my not explaining from the start what I was doing was all that helpful?  . It's outside of my box to do that but I wanted to try it. Maybe that encounter wouldn’t have happened at all if I hadn’t done it that way, because the guy friend very obviously didn’t like the thought of me praying.   Pursue her and her two friends HS. Bring this encounter to mind and bring full healing so she can't deny what happened to her today as she was prayed for in Jesus' name.

Finally ….I was making my way back through the shopping centre when I saw a lady (one of the mall cleaners) pushing the cleaning cart and lurching from side to side.  As I walked alongside her I just asked how her day had been.  She said it was nearly time for her shift to end so she was glad as it had been a long shift.Her name was "Tina".  I asked if her leg was giving her pain and she said it was her knee (which is why she walks strangely)  – she had been in a road accident involving a lorry some time ago and had already had surgery but her knee hadn’t healed properly and she was in constant pain – including now.  I offered to pray and at first she was hesitant, i think not knowing what I meant and nervous that her supervisor might be watching.  I assured her I prayed for many people and had seen even high-level pain go completely and it usually took about 10 seconds.  She was surprised at that !  Her pain level 0 – 10 was level 10!  I told her I would pray briefly then she would test it and be honest telling me the outcome.She certainly seemed the type of person who would tell me the truth if nothing was happening!  

So I prayed briefly once.  It went down to an 8.  Second time – down to a 2!  Then thrid time -  ZERO!!!  She was literally in shock.  She didn’t know what to say.  I couldn’t get her to do an interview because she was too much in shock.  I explained it was Jesus who had done that but she couldn’t get her head round it.  She said it must be me but I insisted it was only Jesus.who healed her because He loves her so much.   It was crazy and radical and amazing   She said "I don’t know how to thank you enough" and I encouraged her to go in her room and thank Jesus and ask Him to show her who He is !  She agreed and we parted. May our paths cross again but until then – rock her world once more, Father.  May her testimony have untold ripple effect for your glory!!!
