Everyone deserves to know how precious they are to Jesus

"He will take such delight in you that it will make him leap for joy…you will be his feast of joyful pleasure. Yes, he will renew you with his love

Nothing Beats The Original!

Several of my encounters have been releasing prophetic words/encouragements this first half of June….and I have come across more believers than I usually do.  Great to bless the family of God too!!  A couple of these encounters with fellow believers were particularly memorable…..

Out in the high street on a beautiful warm afternoon, I could hear singing further up the street and discovered it was a youngish black guy with a big smile, a microphone and a really good voice!  He was singing songs from the 60s like “Cupid, draw back your bow” and “Summer Holiday” etc. I began to ask Holy Spirit about him and what message He wanted me to share with him.  My eye was drawn to the KFC shop near where this singer was performing and a recent KFC slogan written high above the shop saying  “Nothing Beats the Original”

As I prayed about this I felt HS say that he had given this young man real creativity to write his own original material, unique words and melodies that needed to have an outlet for others to hear. At a break in his performing I went over and managed to say I had been praying for him – he was very thankful and told me with a smile that he was a Christian too.  I then told him about the KFC message and God using it to talk about him creating and performing his own original songs and not just those of others. God would enable him to create material carrying the mark of the “true original” that he is. He immediately hugged me and said “You cannot know what that means to me and how that relates to what is happening in my life”  He was almost crying but in a happy way!  It was such a beautiful encouragement for this lovely brother and it really encouraged me too!  I turned and left as he started up a new song.

It was great to get to bless Yvette, Emmanuel and Rosa too – all  believers and quite new on the various jobs they were doing at different points in Slough.  The encounter with Rosa was specially memorable - though just brief.  I had been talking and praying with her colleague (more of that soon) and then went around to the other side of the booth where Rosa was standing.

I knew absolutely nothing about this girl.  I told her I wasn’t there to take her time or to pray or anything – she chuckled and said she was actually a Christian! I just told her that God knew that she loved her family very much and was really missing them ( she started crying)  He heard the cry inside her heart for a good friend to share her times with and that she would see that desire fulfilled by God in a beautiful way.  God was caring for her family while she was away from them.  It was precious to see this sweet girl receive Father’s encouragement  - however brief -  from a random messenger sent specifiically to her that day.

At one point there was a non believer (Lacey) with one of the Christians I met (Yvette) and I spoke some encouragements to her too but she seemed really uncomfortable with it.  I don’t know whether it was because it was just too weird a happening for her, or whether I was homing in on the truth of some things in her life.  Maybe a bit of both.  I will keep asking for His discernment and Spirit sensitivity to know how far to go and where to stop – or not begin in the first place!  Bless dear Lacey, Father and please pursue her with your perfect love in your perfect way in your perfect time.

Finally.  I had a very happy time with a lovely young Muslim girl (Rosa's colleague) I will call her Violet here.  We talked about some current political happenings in the world and I could see she has a real heart of justice and compassion.  Before I had left home I had asked HS about any physical conditions to watch out for that Jesus would want to heal.  They were an injured knee, dental issues, bad tension across both shoulders and recurring throat infections.  I asked Violet if she was experiencing any of these and she identified two!  The following audio clip talks about what Jesus did for her and how she experienced it:

Thank you Father for your measureless love for those in your Family, as well as those still outside your Family who you yearn over with all that You are.  May every name mentioned here have their hearts opened up to receive the incredible kindness of God that leads to repentance.
